Overview of Undergraduate Curriculum Based Medical Education (UG-CBME) Curriculum

"A CME titled “Overview of Undergraduate Curriculum Based Medical Education (UG-CBME) Curriculum” was organised at Academic Block of SMVDIME, Kakryal on 6th March, 2025. The event included trained deliberations from Dr. Sabita Yograj, Professor & Head, Department of Physiology, Dr. Shalini Sobti, Professor & Head, Department of Community Medicine and Dr. Ajay Kumar, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacology. The programme covered three key sections namely :1.An introduction to the CBME curriculum, highlighting the principles and structure of competency-based learning; 2.The goals of CBME, focusing on developing students' practical skills and competence in medical education; 3.The assessment component, designed to evaluate students' mastery of these skills through objective and practical evaluations. The event was attended by all the faculty members including Executive Director, Medical Superintendent and Senior Residents from SMVDIME & Associated Hospital.
