Visit of Hon’ble Board Member Sh. Baleshwar Rai (IAS Retd.) to Review MBBS Admission Preparedness at SMVDIME

"The Hon’ble Board Member, SMVDSB, Sh. Baleshwar Rai (IAS Retd.), visited the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence (SMVDIME) on 25th October 2025 to review the preparedness for the admission of the institute’s first batch of MBBS students.

During the visit, Sh. Rai interacted with Heads of Departments, faculty members, and administrative officials, appreciating their coordinated efforts to ensure a smooth induction process. He inspected the infrastructure, academic setup, and student-support facilities, expressing satisfaction over the meticulous planning and readiness of the institute.

Sh. Rai commended the leadership of Dr. Yashpal Sharma, Executive Director, SMVDIME, for his vision and commitment in realizing the commencement of the MBBS program. He also lauded the teamwork and dedication of all departments toward achieving excellence in medical education.
