Yoga, Meditation & Stress-Management Session Held for MBBS Students
As part of the ongoing Foundation Course for MBBS students, a special session on Yoga, Meditation and Stress Management was conducted under the expert guidance of Shri Anil Sharma, an experienced yoga practitioner and wellness mentor on 7th November, 2025. The session focused on the theme “Yoga for Self and Society”, highlighting the importance of cultivating a healthy body, a balanced mind, and a positive professional outlook—key elements in the life of every future medical professional.
During the program, students participated in a range of structured activities including: • Foundational yoga postures to improve flexibility and physical well-being • Breathing practices (Pranayama) aimed at enhancing concentration and emotional stability • Guided meditation to reduce stress and improve mental clarity Shri Anil Sharma also interacted with the students, emphasizing how regular yoga practice not only enhances personal health but also supports compassionate and attentive patient care. He encouraged students to incorporate short, daily routines into their busy schedules to maintain resilience throughout their academic journey.
