"A CME programme on Cancer Awareness was organised at SMVDIME, Kakryal today. The event included lectures from faculty experts Dr. Sonakshi Jamwal, Assistant Professor, Department of General Surgery and Dr. Rajpal Singh, Assistant Professor Department of Radiation Oncology, SMVDIME Kakryal. Cancer awareness highlighting the importance of enhancing knowledge about prevention, early detection, management, survivorship & supportive care of those afflicted with malignancies was deliberated. The event was graced by the presence of dignitaries Dr. Yashpal Sharma, Executive Director SMVDIME, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Ranyal, Medical Superintendent, Dr. MM Mathavan, Facility Director, &, Dr. Sabita Yograj, Dean SMVDIME in presence of all the faculty members, doctors & residents from SMVDIME & SMVDNSH . The event was concluded by vote of thanks by Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Chairperson, Academics Committee, SMVDIME.
